Thomas Shipps, Certified Duct Tape Marketing Consultant, formed Moneyball Media and Marketing as a logical complement to E3 Consulting, the company he founded to provide CRM, ERP and other business software solutions and training. On the “techie”side, throughout his 25 year career, Thomas has observed that in organizations losing profitability or struggling to meet goals and growth projections, the problems stem not so much from broken technology as from broken people, systems and processes. He sees that even in today’s high-tech world, the road to success starts with business first, technology second.
At Moneyball Media and Marketing Thomas strategically serves as a uniquely qualified marketing resource consultant, It’s a role he enthusiastically embraces. Moneyball Media and Marketing allows him to combine ALL of his education, experience and skills in a holistic approach to business development. He comes from a family of entrepreneurs, And, he has learned from exposure to many different industries throughout his career. He draws from a wealth of knowledge, experience and best practices when working with his clients.
Why Duct Tape Marketing?
Thomas is systems-oriented. Duct Tape Marketing is attractive to him because it’s a simple turnkey system that provides focus and a marketing anchor. Duct Tape principles can be implemented using any type of software.
Combining his expertise in marketing and business technology, Thomas guides and inspires his clients to achieve their goals. He is a popular consultant and speaker throughout the Delaware Valley where he has helped hundreds of businesses do better business during his 25 year career. He is enthusiastic about his Duct Tape Marketing consultancy and the opportunity to help owners and executives transform their businesses.
Thomas believes in rolling up his sleeves and doing what ever is necessary to get the job done.
He also believes in integrity. Once, after he completed a very profitable contract as a project manager, his client sent him to other sites to do additional work. When Thomas realized the client didn’t need the extra work. he told the client and talked himself out of a $1 million contract. He advised his client to choose an alternate route which took a third of the time at just an eighth of the cost.
Because of his honesty, Thomas has been working with that company for over ten years. He firmly believes that even when it hurts in the short-term, integrity is the most important part of doing business and maintaining ongoing relationships.
